Twelve days through Matthew 5 — 7. Walk through the Beatitudes, the Lord's Prayer, and the call to build your life on the rock of Christ's words.
Day 1
The Beatitudes
Matthew 5:1-12 →Jesus opens by blessing the people the world overlooks — the poor in spirit, the mourning, the meek. The Kingdom inverts every value.
Reflect: Which beatitude describes you least? Which would Jesus call you most into?
Day 2
Salt and Light
Matthew 5:13-20 →You are salt. You are light. Your good works are meant to be seen — not for your glory, but for the Father's.
Reflect: Where has your saltiness gone flat? Where is your light hidden?
Day 3
Anger and Reconciliation
Matthew 5:21-26 →Jesus moves the law inward — murder begins with contempt. Reconciliation comes before religious offering.
Reflect: Who do you need to be reconciled to before you next worship?
Day 4
Lust, Marriage, Oaths
Matthew 5:27-37 →Purity begins in the eye and the imagination. Let your yes be yes and your no be no.
Reflect: Where do your private decisions contradict your public words?
Day 5
Love Your Enemies
Matthew 5:38-48 →Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect — perfect in love that extends to enemies.
Reflect: Who is the 'enemy' Jesus is asking you to love this week?
Day 6
Hidden Righteousness
Matthew 6:1-18 →Giving, prayer, and fasting — done for the Father who sees in secret, not the crowd that applauds.
Reflect: Which of these three disciplines is weakest in your life right now?
Day 7
The Lord's Prayer
Matthew 6:9-13 →Pray like this. Six petitions that order the believer's whole life around the Father's name, kingdom, and will.
Reflect: Which petition do you skip past most quickly when you pray?
Day 8
Treasure and Worry
Matthew 6:19-34 →Seek first the Kingdom. Worry is the receipt of misplaced trust.
Reflect: What are you worrying about that reveals where your treasure really is?
Day 9
Judging and Asking
Matthew 7:1-12 →Take the plank out of your own eye. Ask, seek, knock — the Father gives good gifts.
Reflect: Whose speck are you focused on while ignoring your plank?
Day 10
Two Ways
Matthew 7:13-14 →Narrow is the gate. The crowd is no measure of the way of Christ.
Reflect: Are you on the broad road of comfort or the narrow road of obedience?
Day 11
By Their Fruit
Matthew 7:15-23 →Not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord' enters the Kingdom — only those who do the Father's will.
Reflect: What fruit does the last month of your life actually testify to?
Day 12
On the Rock
Matthew 7:24-29 →Hearing without doing is sand. The wise build on the rock of obedience to Christ's words.
Reflect: What is one teaching from this study you have heard but not yet built on?
